I’ve been playing No Man’s Sky for about ten days.
In the game, you wake up alone on a new planet. You fix your suit, find materials, and try to survive. Then you explore more planets, build things, and keep moving forward.
Each planet looks different. New colors, strange animals, new weather. It feels like the game is alive and thinking on its own.
While I was playing, I started thinking about how it all works. The game generates millions of planets with coded logic. Each one is made by math, not by hand. That made me think about real life; how our universe might be doing something similar.
What if life is like a big experiment?
What if the universe is trying to understand itself through us?
Then a thought came to me:
Life is the universe experimenting with awareness.
Ideas are how that awareness grows.
We build machines, write code, and create AI that learns new things.
Maybe that’s just the next step, helping awareness grow even more.
From stars to people, from people to technology.
Each step helps the universe know a little more about itself.
Or maybe we’re part of a simulation ourselves, exploring it just like in No Man’s Sky.
Happy Halloween.
